Culinary Student Takes Second Place at Statewide Competition

Last Friday, culinary student Amber McGlynn placed second at the Shelton Farms Poultry Competition. This annual event is funded by the California Community College Chancellors Office of Family and Consumer Sciences and all California community colleges are invited to participate.

Amber was selected to represent Saddleback after winning in-house competitions. For placing second in the competition, Amber took home $500 and a bag of goodies from Shelton Farms and a trophy.
